Pohlavní rozdíly
Samci mají na řitní a břišních ploutvích oranžově až červeně zbarvený pruh, zatímco u samic je tento pruh bílý. U samců jsou také okraje ocasní ploutve světle červené a prsní ploutve světle žluté.
Etymologie
Druh pojmenován na počest poručíka Egberta Stanleyho Feegradea (1884–?), lékaře a Special Malaria Officer v Public Health Department of Burma.
