Etymologie
Druh pojmenován na počest švédskému ichtyologovi a dlouholetému pracovníkovi Eriku Ahlanderovi, který působil jako Senior Assistant ve sbírkách ichtyologie a herpetologie Swedish Museum of Natural History (NRM) a významně se podílel na rozvoji a fungování ichtyologických sbírek této instituce.
