Výskyt
Jižní Asie — horní povodí Brahmaputry, Indie. Obývá především menší čisté potoky a řeky se středně rychlým až rychlým proudem, většinou s kamenitým nebo písčito-kamenitým dnem a řídkou vodní vegetací.
